2008 - Federated Health 25th anniversary

A Quarter Century of Charitable Giving

Over the last 25 years, members of the Ontario Public Service have given over $25 million through the Federated Health Campaign to the 16 health charities such as Alzheimer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, and Diabetes Canada to name a few. Federated Health was created by and for members of the OPS.

Each charity provides services across the province. Donations fund:

  • Research to find cures and effective treatments
  • Patient services to support people living with these life-threatening or life-changing illnesses
  • Education for prevention and support

Last year’s campaign raised $1.82 million. It is through the generosity and volunteerism of OPS employees and retirees that make this campaign a true success. In typical OPS style, countless hours are donated to planning campaigns, canvassing, and organizing special events. The collaborative effort, team building and sense of pride of OPSers are clearly demonstrated in our commitment and dedication to helping others.

With your help, we can make the 25th anniversary campaign the most successful ever. For more information on Federated Health, please visit the website at www.federatedhealth.ca.
